Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity

Our Research Quality and Scientific Integrity program seeks to expand the impact of the institutional Quality Control System to our research processes through policies, guidelines and plans for continual improvement, and the implementation of monitoring, auditing and educational activities.

This program serves to standardize the conduct of research, assuring compliance with US Department of Health and Human Services requirements, as well as with the demands of national Good Clinical Practices (GCP) legislation.

Objectives

  • To guarantee the protection of research participants, understanding participant as the patient or animal involved, the investigator, the research assistant, and any relevant CIDEIM employees.
  • To ensure the quality and credibility of research data and results.
