Post-doc

My interest in biomedical research brought me to CIDEIM once I finished my undergraduate, and since that time I have been growing personally and professionally as a researcher. Currently I work as a post-doc in the institution and my contributions are focused on the better understanding of host-pathogen interactions, starting with different “omic” sciences such as transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics. My current interest is to integrate the different omic sciences-systems biology- and thus arrive at a better understanding of the infections that we study in order to propose novel therapeutic alternatives that allow us to cope with the diseases of the present and the future.
