Postdoctoral researcher

I am a postdoctoral fellow from the program Global Health Equity Scholars at CIDEIM. My research focus on implementation science to improve the quality of TB diagnosis and case-finding among contacts of index patients. I am an active member of “Alianza TB” a voluntary organization which includes several public and private universities, research institutions and regional health authorities who are committed to decreasing the tuberculosis impact in Cali. Additionally, I am working on a collaborative project aiming to describe the transmission dynamics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains in Cali, using molecular epidemiology.
